I love it when

I am nursing and then all of a sudden a baby spits up and the spit in cottage cheese form runs down my stomach then the baby continues to nurse and while doing so lets out some huge booty stanking farts!

Road Trip here we come!

On Friday we will be embarking on our first long road trip! We are driving to Indy for the Many family reunion! I am really excited the girls will be making their appearance to the extended family for the first time! They will also get to meet all of my BFF's! My mom and dad will also be in town from Texas and the will be meeting my dad for the first time too! The girls seem to enjoy the car, so hopefully all will go well! I myself am dying for Chick-Fil-A so hopefully once we get to Indiana we will get to make a quick stop for lunch! On Friday it is also the girls 2 month well baby checkup so I will post the stats as soon as I can! Friday night I am going to the Dave Matthews concert with my friends and David will be on full time daddy duty! Tomorrow I will pack the JEEP, I hope everything fits! We are lucky because Nanny and Gampa got a packnplay and bathtub for their house, so we won't have to lug those back and forth! I will try and post some pics of the JEEP after it is all packed up!

Wow!

So it has been a while since I last posted, but let me say we have had ALOT going on!
We had our babies! They were born on 6/1/2009, I was 35 weeks and 1 day pregnant! My water broke in the middle of the night on the 1st. It is funny how things work, everyone kept asking me when the babies were going to come, and our answer would always be we are not really sure, but they have to at least wait until June! Well they listened! They are born exactly 6 days after my birthday, so we will all share a birthday week! They too are Gemini's like me! Gampa,Nanny and my best friend Lora all got to be at the hospital with us, and were able to meet the girls within the first 24 hours of their life! Things are going pretty well, both girls spent exactly 14 days in the NICU, where they learned how to eat, regulate their temprature, and breathe correctly. They both did wonderful! After 2 weeks they came home and we spent our first night together as a family, it was not bad at all. The next day Nancy (david's mom) Nana, arrived for a 14 day stay to meet the girls and of course help us out! Also Auntie "M" also arrived and was able to spend a good 5 days with us. They were both so very helpful while they were here, and everyone had an awesome time! The day they left my mom (who has yet to be deteremined what the girls will call her) and Auntie Bec arrived. They were both also very helpful and we had a lot of fun shopping a couple of days!Mom cooked us lots of good meals, and she got us a new freezer too! Everyone was such big helps and they made our transition into parents of multiples a little smoother. It has now been 2 weeks on our own! We have survived, and our house isn't too disgusting, although it could be better HAH! We are figuring out how to maintain the house and cook dinner while taking care of twins and having a small amount of social interaction weather it be in person with friends, or playing on the computer etc. I am nursing the girls and pumping for them. Things have gone pretty well! I have nursed tandum up until yesterday and I have been doing them individually. Last week we had a rough week in the nursing department, so I thought I would make some changes to see how things would work out. The girls have grown into their newborn clothing, and are wearing newborn diapers too! They are getting so very big everyday! Here are our little chica's!
