Christmas Lights!

We finally got our outdoor lights up this weekend! I am so happy, I love decorating for all holidays! Hopefully I will be able to get a picture up soon! This weekend was productive, my parents came down for a quick visit, and my mom was able to get my grandma's room all set up for her arrival. I cannot believe that in 2 weeks we will officially be a family of 5! I cannot wait for her to be back in her home where she has longed to be for quite a while. I am so happy that I/we have the opportunity to care for her. I know it is not going to be a cake walk, but I have faith that I will be able to handle this. My days will probably have alot of changes, but the biggest one will be having to stay at home, no more mid day shopping trips! At least we will have car rides though, we can always just take some nice scenic car rides! :) Here is a cutsie pic to hold you over until our next post!

6 month pedi appt!

The BELL-y babies are doing very well! Yesterday we had our 6 month apt with the new pediatrician here in TX, her name is Dr. Fuentes and she seems very nice! Here is a recap of each girl..
Jacey Stella
weigh 14lbs 10oz (the 27%)
length 25 in (the 30%)
head circ 40.5 (the 8%)
developments
She is
-cooing and babbling
-expressing likes and dislikes
-transfers objects from one hand to the other
-sits unassisted
-rolling from back to tummy
-rolling from tummy to back

Julianna Lilly
weight 12lbs 5 oz (the 6%)
length 24.5 in (the 15%)
head circ 40.3 (the 5%)
developments
She is
-cooing and babbling
-expressing likes and dislikes
-transfers objects from one hand to the other
-rolling from back to tummy
-rolling from tummy to back
Julianna is still trying hard to sit unassisted but she just has not mastered it yet, when Dr. Fuentes "tested" her she said that her trunk control is good and that Julianna knows when she starts falling to one side she leans that way and puts her arm out and that is a good thing. We will just continue to practice! Julianna also got a prescription for prevacid, it is for acid reflux. Julianna has always had a hard time with her tummy, I was hoping the problem would resolve itself, but we decided it would be best to give her some relief, the medication should stop the large spit ups and ease some of her discomfort from the acid on her esophogus.

Both girls got 6 shots! Three in each leg! THey also each got 1/2 the flu shot and 1/2 the H1N1 shot. They will got back next month for the rest of the shot.

Long Overdue

Well yesterday was the girls 1/2 birthday!! And well I have been a a very bad blogger! I have not updated for a long time, but in my defense our life has been just a little crazy! I think thought that things are starting to get normal again at least for a week or two anyway! So let me update you a little bit.
- We moved back to Texas we are living in Corpus Christ/Padre Island we are right on the water!
-Davids job keeps him more than busy, he works ALOT but we are hopng that his hours will calm down soon!
- Both girls love eating food by spoon!
-We have tried rice cereal, avocado, and sweet potatoes. (they weren't huge fans of the avocado, but we will try again soon)
-They are both rolling over from tummy to back and back to tummy, although Julianna does not really go from back to tummy that often and Jacey isn't a big fan of going from tummy to back.
-They love their exersaucer and playmat!
-They love smiling, laughing, cooing, kicking and of course putting everything in their mouths!
Here is a quick shot of them!
